Shipping policy
At Hybrid Power Bikes, we handcraft high-performance engines and kits to power your ride. Orders are processed and shipped from Texas via USPS for domestic U.S. shipments. International shipping is available on select items—contact us at support@hybridpowerbikes.com for quotes and details.
Order Processing and Shipping Times
We build to order for quality, so timelines vary:
Custom and Stage Engines: Typically shipped within 1-2 weeks after your order is placed.
Stock and Commonly Available Products: Please allow 2-5 business days for shipping.
Orders are processed Monday-Friday (excluding holidays). You'll receive a confirmation email with your order details and an estimated ship date. Once shipped, we'll email tracking info immediately.
Shipping Methods and Estimated Delivery
We use USPS for reliable, cost-effective delivery. Estimates below are from the ship date and provided by the carrier—they are not guarantees and can vary due to weather, holidays, high volume, or other events beyond our control.
USPS Ground Advantage: 3-7 business days
USPS Priority Mail (recommended for faster transit): 1-3 business days
High-Value Orders (over $200, standard for engines): Includes USPS Signature Confirmation at no extra cost for proof of delivery.
Rural, APO/FPO, or remote addresses may add 1-3 days.
Track your package anytime at usps.com using the provided number. We'll send updates for key status changes (e.g., "In Transit" to "Out for Delivery").
Risk of Loss and Liability
Important Disclaimer: Title to the goods and all risk of loss, damage, or delay pass to you upon our delivery of the package to the carrier (USPS). This occurs when tracking shows "Accepted at Post Office - Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" or similar. At that point, the shipment is your responsibility—we are not liable for:
Delays in transit (e.g., USPS sorting center backlogs).
Loss, theft (including porch piracy), or damage after handover.
Address errors (double-check at checkout—we ship to the provided address only).
We recommend adding USPS insurance at checkout (~$2-5) for extra protection on valuable engines. For damaged items upon delivery, inspect immediately and contact us within 48 hours with photos—we'll guide you on filing a USPS claim.
Lost or Delayed Packages
If your tracking shows no updates after 7-10 business days from the ship date:
Reply to your shipping confirmation email—we'll file a USPS missing mail search (free) and monitor daily.
If confirmed lost by USPS, we'll reship the same item at our expense (or a comparable one if out of stock) or, at our discretion, issue store credit. No cash refunds unless required by law.
Returns and Refunds
NO REFUNDS · NO RETURNS
All sales are FINAL. We do not accept returns or issue refunds under any circumstances due to the custom nature of our products.
In the rare event of a legitimate product defect or error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped), we may—at our sole discretion—offer an exchange for the same item (shipping fees apply; no cash refunds). Defective claims must be reported within 7 days of delivery with photos and details.
International Shipping
Via USPS First-Class or Priority International: 7-21 days. You are responsible for all duties, taxes, and customs fees. Delays at customs are beyond our control—track via USPS and contact your local office if held.
